Digital Citizenship

Capital Christian School is committed to growing our students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. One of the ways we are committed to doing that is through digital citizenship training in partnership with Common Sense Media by “teach(ing) students how to thrive in the digital age with free, research-backed lesson plans.”

Effective 2019-2020, each student (K-12) will participate in digital citizenship trainings embedded into their regularly-scheduled classes through Common Sense Media. Common Sense is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids thrive in a rapidly changing world. Each of the 8 topics will be spiraled into the 13-years of training materials our students will receive. Elementary students will receive this training from their technology teacher, while MS and HS students will complete these trainings in their English classrooms. The K-12 Scope and Sequence and further lesson details can be explored by clicking on the hyperlink.
