Biblical Integration

Our school has adopted a campus-wide (EE-12) growth goal for the 2019-2020 school year of enhancing our emphasis on biblical integration. We will be providing our faculty with trainings, individual coaching opportunities, seminars, and tools, which we are confident will translate into students who are equipped to view every aspect of life from a biblical worldview rooted in the gospel. Additionally, we are purposing to partner even more intentionally with our families so that our students will have every opportunity to be trained up in the way they should go.

One of the first steps we’ve taken is to adopt a definition of Biblical Worldview that we can tether to every aspect of what we do as a school.

Biblical Worldview: Understanding the truth of who God is and what that means in every area of my life, as informed by Scripture; it is revealed by what I do, not merely by what I think.

Our faculty and staff participated in two training sessions in Spring 2019 during which we unpacked this definition and discussed its application to our lives personally. From there, we will now be launching into its application on our campus and in the lives of our students.

Philippians 2:1-2 – Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united (team Jesus) with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.  (NIV)
