In keeping with one of Capital Christian School’s goals to teach students to serve others, CCMS students are given opportunities to serve each other, their teachers and staff, their community and their country. Through CJSF (California Junior Scholarship Federation), Student Council, Bible classes and staff-initiated projects, students serve in the following ways:
- Canned food drives
- Donations of frozen Turkeys at Thanksgiving
- Writing letters to Overseas Military troops
- Providing local families with Christmas gifts
- Providing local families with furniture, household goods and clothing
- Raising money for people who are enslaved
- Taking part in a coat drive for a local elementary school
- Giving the students at a local school a Christmas party
- Raising funds for “Alternative Pregnancy” centers
- SOS (Students Out Serving) – Spending a morning serving at different venues including food banks, homeless shelters, community parks, schools and the Ronald McDonald House
- Taking care of and blessing teachers through different events throughout the year
