Student Services

The Student Services department at CCHS is comprehensive in nature. The student’s academic, spiritual and behavioral experience is the highest priority for our student services team.

For a small school, we are providing what you would expect to find in a large high school in terms of personnel devoted entirely to meeting the needs of students outside of the classroom. Following is a list of the members of our Student Services team, with a brief explanation of their roles:

HS Dean
The Dean of Students handles student discipline and serves as an advocate for the students.

Guidance Counselor
The Guidance Counselor works closely with each student to ensure they have the courses they need to meet the requirements for the college of their choice. Each spring, the Guidance Counselor reviews graduation requirements and course options with students to ensure that their grades and course selections match stated career and/or college goals. Parents contact the Guidance Counselor with questions about their student’s grades.

College and Career Counselor
The College and Career Counselor meets with and assists students and parents in the process of college and/or university choices. The counselor hosts financial seminars, college fairs, career fairs and parent coffees in an effort to fully expose students to the options available to them.
