Mr. Alvarez is the High School Principal. He earned his BA in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University. Prior to becoming Principal, he served for fifteen years as a CCHS Algebra teacher and as Dean of Students. He also coaches our High School Soccer teams. Ab is married and has four children who attend CCS.

Mr. Graham is the High School Vice Principal and Missions Bible Class teacher. He earned his BS in Social Science and Physical Education from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He holds an ACSI Administrative Credential and a California Life Teaching Credential. Mr. Graham is married and has two children and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Baker is the High School Athletic Director and Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. She earned her BA in Journalism from California State University at Sacramento and holds an ACSI Administrative Credential. Suzanne is married and has two daughters who graduated from CCS.

Mrs. Filer serves as the Language Arts department chair for the Middle School and High School. Julie earned her BA in Social Science from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and her MA in Teaching from Chapman University. She holds a Professional Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential in English and a supplement in Social Science. She also holds a Professional Lifetime ACSI Teacher's Certificate. Julie is married and has two daughters who attend CCS.

Melissa Rowe

Mrs. Rowe is the Student Services Facilitator and Office Manager. She earned her AA degree from Delta College. She has worked in Christian Education for 18 years, 10 at CCS. She has a son in the United States Air Force and a daughter in college. Both are graduates from CCS. She is also a proud grandparent of two boys.

Hannah Abraham

Mrs. Abraham teaches Chemistry and Advanced Placement Chemistry. She earned her BS in Chemistry and her BA in Education from Madras University in India, and her MS in Chemistry and her MA in Education from Annamalai University in India. She taught chemistry for thirty years and served in various roles as Headmistress and Vice Principal of 7,000 students in India. She holds an ACSI Standard Teaching Certificate and a Teaching Credential from India. Hannah is married and has one son.

He earned his BA in Ministerial Studies from Trinity College and his MA of Theology Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He holds an ACSI Teacher's Certificate. Rick is married to his junior high sweetheart.

Mrs. Erie teaches 9th grade English and Advanced English, and is the 9th grade class advisor. Donna earned her BA in Child Development from California State University at Sacramento. She holds an ACSI Teacher’s Certificate for English and a CLEAR California Multiple Subject State Teaching Credential. Donna is married and has one child and five grandchildren. The two oldest grandchildren attended CCS for three years and hope to return next year.

Scott Foran

Mr. Foran teaches 12th grade English 12 and AP English. He earned his BA in English from Simpson University and his MA in English from California State University at Chico. He has been teaching at the high school and college levels for the last fourteen years. Scott has had a number of poems and stories published in a variety of journals and anthologies, and his most recent play, Twice Fooled, is being performed by Shasta College. He is married and has one son.

Mr. Gordon has a BA from Azusa Pacific University. He is teaching boys P.E. this year. He is the son of Pastor Samuel Gordon who is a pastor at CCC. His mother is a teacher and has taught and substituted at CCS. He has two sisters. He loves fly fishing, coaching basketball and playing softball. He attended CCHS 17 years ago. This is his fourth year at Capital.

She earned her BA in Religion from the Emmanuel College School of Christian Ministries in Franklin Springs, Georgia, and holds an ACSI Teacher’s Certificate as a Bible specialist. Betty is married and has two children (CCS alums) and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Torres de Henning teaches Spanish 2, 3 and 4/AP. She earned her BA degrees in French and Foreign Relations in Guatemala, her native country. She earned her BA in English Literature from Cal Poly University at San Luis Obispo and her MA in Spanish from California State University at Sacramento. She holds an ACSI Teacher’s Certificate and is awaiting approval for her California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish. She recently became a USA citizen. Juli is married and has two girls who graduated from CCS.

Mary has led the Intercessors' prayer group at CCS for twelve years. Mary is married to our Superintendent, Todd Jacobs, and their three children are graduates of CCS.

Mr. Jordan teaches Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, and Physics, and he is responsible for the math section of the SAT prep course. He serves as the Math department chair for the Middle School and High School. He earned his BS in Math from Liberty University in Virginia and his MS in Math from Virginia Tech. He is awaiting approval for his California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics. In addition to teaching, Denis is part of the coaching staff for the school’s Cross Country and Ski/Snowboarding teams.

Ms. Ossola is a US veteran of the Army and Air Force. She has 16 years experience serving our country. She teaches Keyboarding, Intro to Computers, Web Design and Web Animation. She received most of her education through the military. She has attended the University of Maryland and Hartnell College. She is a Certified Web Master. This is Ms. Ossola's eighth year at Capital. She has three children. Her oldest son is currenlty serving in the US Army as an Army Ranger. Her daughter is a former graduate from CCS and her youngest son is currently attending CCS. She has four grandchildren.

Mrs. Roberts has been employed at CCS for nine years. She teaches US History, 9th and 7th grade World History, HS and MS Art, HS Drama I and II, 6th grade Drama and Missions class. She is the Junior class advisor and the Visual and Performing Arts Department Head. Mrs. Roberts has directed 12 HS/MS full-length drama productions, and is our Mascot coach.

She was the Office Manager of her husband's General Contracting business for 20 years before coming to CCHS 4 years ago. Audrey is married and has 3 sons, 2 of whom are CCS graduates. Audrey also has 2 beautiful grandchildren.
