Mia Buma is currently directing the Educational Support Services Department. Mia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Education and MS in Education from the University of California, Eastbay. She also is a NILD Certified Educational Therapist. She currently holds both an ACSI Teacher’s Professional Lifetime Administrative Certificate as well as her California State Teaching Credential with a multiple subject endorsement. Mia is married and has 2 daughters.

Sharon Littleford

Sharon Littleford works for the CCS Support Services Department as a National Institute for Learning Development educational therapist. She works in the elementary, middle school and the high school. She earned her bachelors degree in Child Development from California State University, Northridge. She earned her teaching credential from the Center of Developmental Studies in California. She has a Clear Multiple Subjects and a Specialists Clear in both Learning and Severely Handicapped. She also earned a Resource Specialist Certificate. She has lived in Sacramento for three years and has three children and four grandchildren.

Linda Milliorn

Linda Milliorn works in the Elementary Learning Center where she guides students in the “Search and Teach” program which runs from Kindergarten through first grade. Linda attended Urban Bible Training Seminar and Sacramento City College as well as Capital Bible College. He holds a certificate in counseling from CBC. She also helps manage and teach students first through fifth grade using a program called “Read Naturally.” Along with these duties, Linda assists students who need additional help by tutoring them in mathematics.

Toni Morrison

Toni Morrison works for the CCS Educational Support Services department. She works in the elementary, middle and high schools as an educational therapist trained by the National Institute of Learning Development. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and her Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of the Pacific. She holds a California Professional Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a California Clear Specialist Instruction Credential in Special Education, and a California State Community College Credential in Developmental Disabilities. Toni is married and has 3 children, one of whom attends CCS.

Dan Paige

Mr. Paige is currently teaching high Algebra and Two-Year Algebra at the high school and is a NILD education therapist. Dan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University. He currently holds an ACSI teacher’s certification and is a certified NILD educational therapist. Dan is married to his lovely wife Stephanie who is currently teaching the Pre-K classroom here at Capital.

Rachel Silva

Rachel Silva serves for CCS’ as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Educational Support Services department. She assists students in elementary, middle school and high school that are in the NILD program. Additionally, Rachel works with students who receive accommodations through the ESS program. She also coordinates the HS Library Parent volunteers. Rachel earned her AA degree from American River College and is currently working on her BA in Family Consumer Science. Both she and her husband attend and serve at church services for Capital Christian Center on a regular basis.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Cultures from the University of California, at Irvine. She earned her Master’s Degree in Intercultural Studies at Biola University. She holds both an ACSI teacher’s certification as well as a multiple subject Professional Clear California State Teaching Credential. Mindy is married and has five children, all of whom have attended CCS.
